2020 Rd 08 Titans vs Sharks
Jaimin Jolliffe was outstanding at Prop. Busy in defence chaining tackles together. He played 48 minutes making 42 Tackles and 106 meters for 52 Points in Base Stats. His season PPM is 0.97, if he keeps getting 45+ Minutes he will make plenty of money and be a reliable 18th man in the process. If you didn't get on board this week or earlier, he should be priced at around $406K (30.5 Pts) next week.
Beau Fermor was the last minute cash cow arising from Kevin Proctor being out. Titans said they only expected Proctor to miss 2 games which made picking up Fermor a little precarious. He had an outstanding first half on the back of 2 big line breaks. He was on 45 Pts at half time. He scored just 11 in 34 minutes in the 2nd half though with his defensive work dropping and missed tackles climbing. The biggest question is, how does he fit in over the next 6 weeks. If he gets just 1 more start on an edge and then becomes a bench player then that could be a problem. It should also be noted that Titans had both Peachey and Cartwright covering Centre injuries. Kelly and Copley were both missing this week whether injured or dropped. Young Tonumaipea could be back in Rd 10 but may be a week or two longer.
Cartwright is too slow for Centre long term and Hipgrave looks quite favored on an edge at present. We'll take another look at the situation with our Rd 9 team Lists Report, perhaps by then there may be some more clarity with Proctors prognosis.
Jai Arrow has scored back to back 44's from 49 minutes this week and 52 minutes last week. His season PPM is now 0.85, below his previous 0.93 PPM at Lock. He's only had 1 game this season above 1 PPM. His price is falling but at this stage he is not looking a final team target. We'll keep an eye on his minutes and PPM in the weeks to come.
Fotuaika on the other had continues to press claims to finish the season as the #2 Fantasy FRF. He played 64 minutes converting it to 60 Points. It seems that Fotuaika is now getting the minutes that Arrow used to get.
Erin Clark played 33 minutes for 21 points in a game where Holbrook carried 2 hookers on his bench. It turns out he needed them with both Rein and Tanah Boyd picking up injuries. Rein's being a knee which looks likely to sideline him and revive Clark as a cash cow for those who own him. Clark came in with an ABE around (-3). The 21 will slow him down a little but his owners will be happy that he remains viable.
For those that stuck with him, Brailey has finally come to life and made his $150K in the last 2 weeks. 69 with a Try this week following last weeks 62 with a Try. He'll have a nice low BE this week as well. Probably best to ride him until his BE reaches a 40ish mark and get out on a high.
Andrew Fifita went Beast Mode with 67 and a Try from 43 minutes. With his minutes capped his days of Fantasy Relevance look over though.
Shaun Johnson has come back to life this season, 57 this week and averaging 55.6 for the season. The additional 5 Pts above our early projection of 50 largely comes from 1 place though - General Play Kicking Meters. He's averaging 312m a game to Chad Townsend's 144m a game. Townsend disappearing out of the kicking game the way he has was unexpected - will it stay this way?
Toby Rudolf had a good PPM game and scored 46 from 46 minutes. He only made $8K so you didn't miss much if you had moved on from him.
Matt Moylan succumbed to yet another hamstring injury. Kennedy has averaged 36.6 through the first 5 rounds at fullback with 1 Try contributing to his total. He's priced at almost 31 Pts now so not likely a player you want to mess about with. If you happen to already have him from the start then he's just come back to life.
